Closest pub to the Fleetwood-Knott End ferry and therefore guaranteed a good slice of trade on sunny days as it has a large garden; and indeed it was rammed when I looked in a fine Spring day, with a queue around 20 strong at the bar. Fairly modernised interior over a couple of areas – nothing to get excited about. Three pumps with just GK Golden Hen on, so that made my mind up against being person 21 in the queue and I headed off to The Squash.

I hadn't seen the oter reviews before I visited and I'm pleased as we found this to be a friendly pub serving excellant home cooked food, everything was fresh and hot and the service was spot on. I would recommend it and we look forward to returning soon to try the sunday cavery.

Nice seaside location.
Visited the Bourne Arms on a wet & miserable Saturday lunchtime.
Parking next to the pub. Level access.
A couple of Theakstons ales on offer, including Old Peculier.
No smoking room is upstairs.
Toilets clean, tidy & accessible but very limited space.
We were informed on arrival only carvery meals were available, no vegetarian options offered. Not my favourite as I don’t care for food which has been kept warm on open counters. Food was OK, but not great, only just warm enough. Low prices. It was very annoying to hear the people who came in & sat at the next table as we were eating being told the full menu was now available! I have had a better lunch on a previous visit, so hope this was a one-off.
