There's no real ale here anymore sadly. I ended up having a half of fizz. There was live music on during my visit and the singer was pretty good, so I sat and watched. It's a bit of a "so what" pub, but it was pretty full, so they must be doing something right, I just couldn't see what it was. :-))

Still a fairly good pub. down to earth and lively in the summer months though more subdued last time I was here. real ale tends to be a dull choice, but at least they serve it.
