Visited on a Monday evening in May. No real ale, no keg of interest, so I went for an Aspall Cyder (presented in a Poretti goblet).

Felt like we were treated with suspicion for being new faces to the pub. Not unfriendly service but a bit awkward.

The pub itself is fairly nice inside, different seating areas, with a beer garden to the rear that would have been rather soggy at the time of this visit so was not investigated.

Nothing really to tempt me back but I guess it serves its purpose as a local pub for local people.

A bit of trivia - George Shaw Brewery used to exist on Brewery Lane, which would explain the name. I have no idea if the Brewery Inn was ever a tap for George Shaw, but it would make sense.

With a name like The Brewery Inn on Brewery Lane I had visions of at best a couple of banks of cask beers on show and at worst a couple of the regular real ales to go at,but alas no just the usual suspects. The pub is a one roomed open plan job with friendly locals and ok I suppose but have no plans to rush back.

Love this pub, nice atmosphere, just wish it was a bit bigger, but if you looking for a nice time give it a try
