The Britannia is a small stone built pub that is on the busy bolton road.
Once inside the pub was fairly basic but a decent enough pub to have a few drinks in,the pub is a Thwaites tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Thwaites mild and this was a very nice drink the other beer was Thwaites bitter.
