The Bowling Green is a three storey pub that is at the bottom of the hill when heading into Darwen from the south.
The pub still had its lion ales signs outside,once inside the pub was quite smart and comfortable,the pub was carpeted and had comfortable seating.
There was one real ale on the bar this was Cains bitter and this was a decent drink.
I thought this was a fairly nice pub to have a few drinks in.
