basic but lively town centre pub within an old, low beamed building. Watch your head- especially in the pool room. No carpets as far as I could see, all bare in here. Some well oiled drinkers at the bar but all friendly and a couple of ales from Navigation and Rudgate. Worth a look, not for the faint hearted but a solid pub.

A nice enough pub though a fairly basic one. A single room with the bar to your right on entering. 3 handpumps on the bar but only 2 on today. Howard Town Kerala and Bombardier on on my visit. It was a friendly enough place on this Saturday afternoon

This pub occupies an exellent location in Clitheroe town centre, right on the old Market place. There's one main room, which contains the bar, to the right of the entrance and another small room on the left. Two real ales available on my visit. The carpets and upholstry are showing their age though.
