Real Ale Ray left this review about Lower Buck Inn
A traditional country pub, unspoilt both inside and out. The pub consists of four rooms, with the bar serving the front and rear lounge on the left. They held their first beer fest the end of Oct, with a range of twenty locales and various hand made pies. Five hand pumps on our visit. I went for Boland Brewery Sawley Tempted and Hen Harrier and a Lytham Gold. The friendly barmaid told us the pub has a challenge to finish their home cooked steak and kidney pudding weighing in at 16 ounces, served with chips and gravy. Would happily spend a few hours supping here.
