Situated up a narrow lane on the right as you approach the medieval village of Wiswell. The building was originally three separate cottages, hence a multi roomed interior, which still retains the feeling of three separate spaces. The interior is tastefully decorated and finished to a high spec. I especially liked the low ceilings, with original light coloured oak beams. The pub was named the Freemasons, as this was the meeting place for the local masons. The pub is now a gastropub and the emphasis is mainly food led, but nevertheless they had three handpumps, two in use serving Moorhouse's White Witch.

Quirky little pub, the food is excellent and the wine list is as well. I am sorry to say but I have not tried the beer, more of a wine drinker
