Brainy Pool left this review about The Wheatsheaf Hotel
Perfectly pleasant village pub with a modernised but relatively traditional interior. There’s an L shaped bar with chunky tables, banquette seating, a fireplace and a couple of TVs. To the left you find a couple of real ales, from Wigan Brewhouse and Bolton’s Bank Top today. Pool table and darts board to the right. It’s everything you need from a local pub, but maybe not one you would go out of your way to visit.

Blue Scrumpy left this review about The Wheatsheaf Hotel
Community local with an L-shaped main room and a small room containing a pool table just off it.
On my Saturday lunchtime visit, just 2 locals, the barmaid and a dog were present. A large screen was showing live FA Cup football from Kidderminster.
Gold Rush & Hobgoblin were the two real ales. There is a minimum spend for card transactions. I can't recall whether that was £5 or £10, but I ended up paying the old fashioned way.
