Old Boots left this review about Prince of Wales

Beware there are two pubs called the Prince of Wales in Chorley, one outside the town centre which is in the GBG2022 and this one in the town centre. I confused the two and wondered why on earth this place was in the Good Beer Guide, it hasn’t changed much since the other reviews possibly it's a bit worse.

Brainy Pool left this review about Prince of Wales

a pleasant and popular town pub with the feeling of a more intimate Wetherspoons inside. Busy on my visit with breakfast diners and hard drinkers (ordering shots at half 10 in a morning is a bit much even for me, but not for the good people of Chorley it seems). Two handpumps were serving up Acorn Blonde and Naylor Blonde.

Al Bundy left this review about Prince Of Wales

A pleasant enough boozer. 4 cask ales on with 3 nationals and 1 guest. A single room with the bar directly in front of you as you enter.

Chorley Phantom Drinker left this review about Prince Of Wales

Like a drug I just keep going back.

Real ales are ok. Sports catered for. Food and coffee during the day is reasonable.

Sometimes good atmosphere sometimes none at all. Very hit and miss.

But you dont have to pay to get in on a saturday night. So really is the poor mans Henry Tate.

Landlord who made the place lively seems to have moved on so have to wait and see what happens next.
