Exactly as it says on the tin, a converted long barn which has been done to a high standard. Enter from the rear car park, past sun trap decking. The inside is over two floors, with plenty of low beams and exposed brick. Tasteful equine wallpaper and wood pew wall seating. The bar is far left as you enter. Three pumps but disappointingly just Doom Bar on, however it drank pretty well so could be worse. Upstairs level very tidy, mainly for dining. Silent TV showing snooker. Quiz night Thurs. Robust but well behaved clientèle, didn’t feel too out-of-place in here, unlike some other places in the vicinity. Overall not bad for the area and with an extra ale or two, could be even better.
