The Sir Charles opened today with an appearance from Judas Priest member Rob Halford. Locals set up a community company to reopen the pub as a social enterprise. It was taken over in June 2016 refitting the pub into a rock music venue.

Although closed at the moment the Napier is being refurbished and will reopen as a community run rock pub
