Multiple areas in this pub, despite being one room really. The first area on the right is seperated from the others by a waist high divider. The other three areas are arranged around a horseshoe shaped bar that serves all three. Quite a lot of horse brasses and pictures around the place give it a comfortable ambience. This is a Marston's pub, so 4 or 5 beers from their wider portfolio on the bar. Known locally as the "Top Dog" it's very foody during the day, but more publike later on. Friendly service from the attractive barmaid was a postive as well. A decent pint of Marston's Burton Bitter was £3. This pub is in the CAMRA GBG2015.

The Dog and Pheasant is a decent sized pub that it situated at the top end of oldham road.
Once inside the pub the bar was facing, the room at the front was more like a bar, there were other rooms to the rear.
The pub was a Marstons tied house at the time of my visit, there were three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Marstons bitter which was a decent enough drink, the other beers were Marstons Pedigree and Banks's mild.
This was quite a smart and comfortble pub to have a drink in.
