The Dog and Partridge is a bare brick built pub that is a short walk from the Woodman.
Once inside this pub had a smart looking lounge which was a decent size,i did'nt see a bar room but i did'nt really look for one.
The pub was a Whitbread tied house at the time of my visit, there were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Boddingtons bitter which was ok,the other beer was Wells Bombardier.
This was a pleasant and comfortable pub to have a drink in.
