Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Red Lion Inn
Country pub, not only in an area of quiet countryside but almost hidden from the road by a row of trees along the frontage. The interior retains two main rooms; a smallish bar at the front with three tables and a few stools by the counter, and a larger two-part dining room at the side. Also has a rustic beer garden at the back. Two Goacher's real ale - Fine Light (£3.95, excellent) and Fine Dark - on the three handpumps. Quite difficult to find, but with the effort if in the area.

E TA left this review about Red Lion Inn
This rather odd-looking country pub is hard to find without a satnav, map or local but it is worth the effort. The building itself looks unappealing from the outside but it's totally different once you're through the door. Outside is a narrow carpark and a terrace for al fresco drinkers and smokers. A cosy public bar to the right of the door has a rather incongruous fireplace, while to the left is a pleasant, comfortable dining room. There are bare floorboards throughout, a mix of wooden furniture including some church pews, sober decor, understated fixtures and unobtrusive background music make it a relaxing place to enjoy a pint or a meal. Three ales on - I had Adnams Southern, which was well kept. It's a bit of a trek to find, but it's in lovely countryside and makes a great place for a meal, a pint and a trip out.
