Cask was GK IPA, TT LL & Tribute. Keg was Fosters, Guinness, Estrella, Moretti, Amstel, Neck Oil, Stella, Thatchers Gold.
GK pub about 15 mins walk from Sevenoaks station. Entrance is more a public bar where the occupants were occupying the stools around the bar counter in a bare boarded room. Collection of small tables with low stools plus a banquette serving a larger table by the doorway to the larger lounge bar which is served by another similar sized bar counter with the busy landlady moving between both sides. The fire grate opposite the doorway was disappointingly not hosting a roaring fire. A banquette to the side of the doorway served a regular table and there were plenty of seating options over to the left-hand side of this part, together with a pool table over in the far corner. Screen was switched off, and an 80's & 90's pop soundtrack filled the entire space. A couple of picnic benches out the front plus a beer garden out the back unvisited by me as darkness had already set in. Pleasant pub.

Not visited since 2001 when this was our local, this was a pleasant, traditional family-run pub (as I recall) with a good atmosphere in a pleasant residential area and off the beaten track.
In keeping with the name, I remember a couple of old rifles mounted to the wall but the photos on the website show an altogether more modernised affair.
I'd return if in the area.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Rifleman
In many respects, this Greene King house is rather better outside than in. It has a number of benches out front which are pleasant in the sunshine as the adjacent back street has little traffic. On the opposite side of the building, the raised decking offers a substantial covered area plus a separate smokers shelter. Lower down, there is also a basic beer garden with a few further benches. Inside, there is some plain furniture in each bar plus pool table, etc. in the larger back bar. IPA, Old Golden Hen (£3.80), Rocking Rudolph and Tribute available from a total of eight handpumps split between the two bars. Overall, rather hidden away but worth a look if you are in the area.

A relatively appealing Greene King pub on the outskirts of Sevenoaks but more of a local's pad than anything worth going out of the way for. I have been lured here a couple of times in the past year by my nephew who occasionally plays in a band that performs here although it really isn't a place conducive to live music with cramped bars and poor sight lines. The front bar has a darts area and is generally inhabited with bar huggers. The rear bar is equally cramped but does have extended areas containing a pool table one way and bar billiards the other. Décor and furnishings are pretty standard with a few beamed ceilings, military pictures, a log fire (that belts out enough heat to make the place a bit of a sweatbox) and the old pub sign now displayed by the pool table. To the rear is an attractive rear garden with covered decked patio.
One huge bonus is that despite being a Greene King pub, it does offer a guest ale to supplement the 2 GK beers (my recent visit saw the excellent Davenport Highland Whisky Ale). Prices are reasonable, staff and customers quite welcoming and it is generally a pretty civilized place albeit off the beaten track to most people.
