David Walton left this review about The Halfway House

Visited 10/11/25

Cask was TT LL. Keg was Madri, Aspall, Guinness. Neck Oil, Moretti, Pravha, Fosters & Stella.

L shaped roadside pub not too far from the station. Bare boarded. Front part has regular tables and chairs and an illuminated dart board to the right of the entrance. Up a step or two to the left of the entrance is a similar area providing stool seating at the bar and regular tables and chairs. Busy showing the darts on my mid evening attendance. Venue has live music at the weekend and regular poker nights. Not a leading light but convenient for the station if waiting for a train and would be an OK venue for live sport.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Halfway House

Nowadays the only place for a pint anywhere vaguely near Sevenoaks railway station (and even then, its a good few minutes walk away). Was a fairly basic Greene King roadside pub, but has prospered since its reconfiguration and refurbishment into a much more welcoming establishment. More open than it was, with a compact bar along the frontage and a small additional seating area on a higher level. Light furniture and decor. Doom Bar, Finchcocks Original and Tonbridge Coppernob (£3.70) being dispensed from three of four handpumps on this visit.
