Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Vale Tavern
Unfussy but attractive side-street pub with bold signage and quite a plain interior with light paintwork and large windows. There is a row of wooden benches out front for the better weather, but on a cold winter day, the blazing log fire in the L-shaped main bar was a very welcome sight. There is also a smaller, rectangular bar housing the pool table. Finding two of the three handpumps in use was another plus, especially as the local Wantsum Black Pig porter (£4.60) was on in addition to Landlord.
