Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Flying Dutchman
Much enlarged High Street pub, with the two-part bar mostly in the original building and further seating and dining areas in a single-storey extension further back. Plenty of wooden benches can be found in the side patio beer garden, partly under cover of a marquee that was creaking rather alarmingly as the wind got up. With two of the three handpumps in use, I found London Pride and Barrywatch from Vog Brewery (£4.20).

A fairly large pub catering for most age groups in Queenborough. The front public bar has a pool table, juke box and is a bit like a youth club. The saloon at the back offers food, but for some reason they couldn't feed us this time. Also, there was no real ale – apparently it had 'just run out', though there was no evidence of anyone else drinking it. Pretty useless really, so I don't think I'll rush back.
