Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Chequers Inn
Very attractive village pub with a white weatherboard façade. Very traditional interior, with a rather cramped bar counter but usually well staffed. Decent sized beer garden, and the small oast to one side is sometimes used to house stillages for beer festivals. Now has a fully enclosed marquee at the back to expand the limited number of indoor tables, plus a semi-open gazebo out front to provide another covered outdoor option. As trade recovers from the coronavirus pandemic, the regular Harvey's plus Betty Stoggs and TT Boltmaker as guest beers (both £4.50) were available from three of the four handpumps on this visit. Overall, worth seeking out.
