Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Hampton Inn
This Shepherd Neame inn is the only real remnant of the eponymous former hamlet, now swallowed up as a western suburban of Herne Bay. However, the building remains in a fine position overlooking the sea and seems to be doing very well (to the extent that all the tables and bar stools were occupied on a Saturday lunchtime, so I took a perch on one of the wooden benches outside in the watery winter sunshine). Master Brew and Spitfire (£5.50) available from two of the three handpumps.
