Strongers . left this review about Ye Olde Leather Bottel

Ye olde leather bottle is U-shaped with a central blue painted U-shaped wooden serving counter that faces tables along the front windows, all of which sit under a wood panelled ceiling overhead. To the left of the bar is some seating under a vaulted ceiling, and an old exposed brick wall runs along the rear where there are some high tables. The right-hand wall is also exposed brick, but this side of the pub with its pool table doesn’t feel as old as the left-hand side. During a recent Wednesday evening visit there was a thirty-something crowd who were playing pool while some background music played. Standard keg and Birra Moretti were both available from the friendly woman behind the bar who, looking at one of the ceiling beams, may be a scutelliphilist. I didn’t really settle during my stay, and this place is a bit out of the way so I doubt I’ll ever return.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Ye Olde Leather Bottel

You can still see something of the attractive old inn this must once have been, with weatherboarding on one side and mock-Tudor exposed timbers on another, but the interior has been opened out and refurbished in an unsympathetic semi-modern style at some stage. Surprisingly busy in a weekday mid-afternoon, with the pool table in constant use. Sports TVs, various food offers and a range of entertainment events advertised. Looks like it should be real ale pub, but unfortunately not... so the choice was John Smith's (£3.30), a few dull lagers or bottled beers such as Bombardier.
