Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Leather Bottle
Fine old building with an interior as traditional as you would hope for in a place looking like this. There is a public bar at the front but a much larger lounge / dining area on the other side of the central servery. Very full on a Sunday afternoon with those eating, but I managed to find a spot to sit at a table for those arriving later. Two real ales available from the four handpumps: a 'house' (Greene King) Best Bitter and the seasonal Gangly Ghoul (£4.80).

How funny. The other punters who had booked a table were told they could not bring their dog in.
Lovely looking pub that plays on its literary traditions.
