Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Cricketers Inn
As the name suggests, this large Whiting & Hammond dining pub overlooks the pitch on the triangular village green. The multi-room, slightly split-level interior has a variety of seating / dining areas all with the usual melange of old pictures and other faux-traditional features, and was also getting into the Christmas spirit a month early. However, three of the five handpumps were thankfully in use, with Landlord, London Pride and the more local Friars Ale from Canterbury Ales (£4.80) available. Also has a sizeable patio beer garden at the back.

I do NOT recommend this pub. If you like cold food, like waiting 2 hours for a starter, and then get rude and shambolic service then by all means come to this pub, if not, do yourself a favour and avoid. There are better, cheaper and nicer pubs around - one word, CRAP!

Great food, European beers & vast selection of wines. Enjoy a lazy day or social evening at the newly refurbished Long Hop.
