The Raglan, Folkestone

The Raglan is a small thin pub with seating and a dartboard to the left of the entrance and a bar along the rear wall. There is a pool table to the right and a jukebox that was playing some background music during my Monday afternoon visit. There are four hand pumps that were all unused so only a standard draught selection was available. Sky Sports is heavily advertised and there are two plasma screens that were both switched off. The toilets are found at the bottom of a flight of stairs.

The two women working the bar were very friendly, but the air was very blue and I was the only customer. This is a comfortable pub, but I didn’t see anything that would have me rushing back.
