Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Providence Inne
High Street pub restaurant, housed in two adjoining buildings with a very different look. The interior of both has been partly opened-out to leave two dining areas (separated by a fireplace) and the bar at the right-hand end. All parts refurbished in a light gastro-pub style, although the overall effect is still more traditional than that might suggest. Four handpumps on the counter, although only one of these was in use on my visit, pouring Dark Star's Hophead (£5.00).

E TA left this review about The Providence Inn
Fantastically friendly seaside pub in a grand Georgian building consisting of a single E-shaped bar, carpeted and cosy, with a central fireplace. It first opened as a pub around 1838. There is a very homely feel to it. The barstaff were welcoming and decent Free wifi is available. There were three ales on, Young's Bitter, Young's Gold and Doombar, all in excellent condition. Well worth coming back to for an evening or as part of a crawl.
