Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Nailbox
With Shepherd Neame moving towards an estate of larger, food-led outlets (often with accommodation), their more traditional, community pubs such as this are diminishing in number. However, this one seems to be thriving, with all but one table taken (and a good number of other customers standing) early on a Friday evening. This is partly due to having a pool table and dartboard in the compact J-shaped interior, but in better weather some further seating is available outdoors on the terrace. Just Master Brew (£3.90) on the bank of four handpumps, but this was in good shape.

A Shepherd and Neame pub in a Victorian resiential area near rteh West Station, this pub is vary much a friendly local. An impressive Victorian house, it has been recently refurbished and is now mostly open plan with a single central servery. It's sloping site adds to the interest and means a descent into the garden. It has a pool table and a couple of TV screens. Two ales were on, I had the Nun's Delight which was served at the correct temperature and well served but seemed to be a bit dull. It's decent, solid local boozer which I would be happy to patronise any time when passing and would break a rail journey for.
