Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The White Lion
Proper village pub, set back from the road a bit in an unusually tall 2½-storey brick building with a fully symmetrical façade. The interior has been opened out a bit, but there are still three separate parts (all traditionally furnished). However, on a nice day, there is plenty of outside seating with wooden benches at the front and a beer garden (partly under shelter) to one side. As a Shepherd Neame house, I found Master Brew, Whitstable Bay Pale and the very popular seasonal Rumour Mill from three of the four handpumps on this revisit, with the former and Spitfire also available direct from casks in the temporary garden bar for the live music from Sur les Docks from Dunkerque on a Sunday afternoon.
