Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Sportsman
Very basic corner pub with a compact trapezoidal counter, some refurbished seating along the front wall and a couple of fruit machines further back up four steps on one side. Dartboard, and a oddly sloping outdoor skittle alley (still in use during the warmer months apparently) out back. Live music also advertised. No cask ale of course, and only a limited keg of the John Smith's (£3.90) sort. So not much doing, bur I did feel welcome as a random stranger.
