Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Cider Works
The signage says 'Dining - Weddings - Events', and that is indeed 90% of the story, but people just looking for a drink are also welcome at the compact bar of this old pub dating back to 1794 if there is room. There main part of the interior comprises at least two separate dining rooms, and there are a number of upmarket caravans in the garden. It had only been open on certain evenings and for Sunday roast dinners in recent times, but I had read that it was extending its hours to Thursday to Saturday lunchtimes. However, it turned out that I had arrived a week too early... but there were people about, and while I didn't manage to get a pint, they were happy to serve a glass of water and to let me use the facilities. Had I arrived later in the day, various (mostly crafty) beers and ciders would have been available from seven of the eight keg taps on the bar-back.

This is now the Green Oak Farm Cider Works. There is an onsite cafe where they sell their own cider to drink in as well as takeaway.
