Not really a pub, more of a bar associated with the Bath City football stadium, and even then it feels like an embarrassing afterthought. It’s housed in a large Portakabin-like structure in the stadium car park. Charlie’s takes up half the building, the other half a similar institution called ‘Randall’s’, which was full of fitness equipment when we visited. The two are separated by a folding wall which, when opened, forms a larger bar called ’Charlie’s and Randall’s’. Opening times are irregular and unpredictable, though match days are a good bet. The rest of the time it’s hired out to local businesses as a conference room. There are two handpumps on the bar, but both were dry. The best they could offer was Bath Gem on keg, alongside 2 ciders from Thatcher’s and some megakeg stuff – Guinness and a couple of lagers. Unless you’re coming in for pre-match refreshments I really shouldn’t bother.

This is the bar at Bath City's football ground, which welcomes supporters of either team. You can enter the bar before passing through the turnstiles. For the recent visit of Luton Town they had a couple of small barrels of Palmer's beers on the bar (Best Bitter and Dorset Gold), which were served with efficiency and friendliness.
