Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Chatterton Arms
Quite an attractive corner pub in a suburban street parallel to Bromley Common which a nearby piece of street furniture proclaims to be Chatterton Village. Not a bad-looking interior either, with the centre-piece of the rectangular main bar being a gantried servery opposite the two separate main doors. Dark, semi-modern furniture, but there are plenty of windows and the simple, light decor is enhanced with some local history photographs. To the right-hand side, there is a smaller bar with lounge-type furniture and the pool table, with a patio area beyond. There was a good crowd in on a Sunday lunchtime, with plenty of chatter to compete with the sports TVs. The only real downside to the place is on the beer front, with the pair of handpumps disused unfortunately, but at least there was Guinness Golden Ale available in preference to the inevitable John Smith's.
