Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Dolphin Inn
Traditional-looking hostelry, both inside and out, with a bold façade and a bare brick / wood-panelled multi-room layout (with a pool room at the back). Difficult to form other impressions because it was full of people rocking out to a very proficient blues band in counterpoint to the ongoing folk festival, but "proper pub" springs to mind. I procured a pint of the local Gadds No 7 (£4.00), but it was impossible to tell whether any other real ales were available on the other handpumps on other parts of the 'L'-shaped counter.

Aqualung . left this review about The Dolphin Inn
This is a rambling old pub with beams and a wooden floor. There is a bar to the immediate right as you enter and there appeared to be another one up to the left. There are TV screens everywhere with the sound on during my visit. One of them was showing a bloke called Meringue who I've been told is the Jack Dee of football management.
The nearest bar counter had four hand pumps with three unused leaving Gadds' No 7 (£3.50). This was unpleasant and going off.
I noticed that this place is known as Casey's as well as the Dolphin. Whichever name you care to apply it's probably worth avoiding.
