Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The George Inn

Thorley Taverns have been more sellers than buyers in recent years, but this one bucks the trend. The former Barnaby Rudge has reverted to its previous name, and the opened-out, reversed J-shaped layout is as traditional as you would expect. Busy on a sunny bank-holiday Sunday afternoon, and with different sports on the various TVs, it was all a bit cacophonous, but it wasn't too hard to find a small table to enjoy a reasonable pint of three local Gadds' Seasider (£4.95), the only cask ale from a pair of handpumps).

Aqualung . left this review about The George Inn

This is a carpeted single room that is roughly L shaped. On my Saturday afternoon visit the TV screens were going. I noticed that at one end there was an Idiot Booth.
There are three hand pumps here which had one unused, Gadds' No 7 and Hobgoblin. I noticed a keg option for Adnam's Mosaic which I went for and then regretted as it was a ridiculous £4.70.
I won't be back.
