Strongers . left this review about The Globe Inn

Satellite sports are advertised on the frontage of the Globe Inn so I wasn’t surprised to find muted Sky Sports cricket on the screens throughout the long and narrow bare board floored interior that feels more like a bar than a pub, which is odd because the name conjures up visions of a traditional boozer. The front of the pub has a slightly sunken tiled floor where seating sits adjacent to the bifold door front that opens up to the passing street. During a recent early midweek evening visit the barmaid informed me that she’d just shut the front due to a swarm of bees, I’d actually just walked past where they were attached to a shop front a few doors along. The serving counter runs up the left hand wall where it faces some high booths up the right. In the rear are some tables and another couple of booths, these ones being lower. Premium and mainstream craft keg were available alongside an offering from Marlow Brewery on hand pump (or is it Rebellion Beer Co.? Make your mind up!). There were another two or three hand pumps, but these were off or unused. The service was polite, but I didn’t really get this place with the muted cricket on TV, piles of board games available from the bar and dance music in the background.

I didnt see any real ale on here. It has the appearance of a low grade sports bar,I didn't hang around.

Dark cavernous interior that looked preposterously uninviting despite the small outside seating area overlooking the pedestrianized Bartholomew Street. Pub by stats: one lonely unclipped hand pump, one customer, zero bar staff. Moved on.
