Graham Coombs left this review about The Cedars
A peculiar place, which still feels like the small hotel it used to be but now adapted as a Fuller's pub. The two rooms are pleasant enough but relatively featureless and don't really suit the age of the building. One side has a dartboard but otherwise there is little to choose between them. Lawned gardens to the rear. Ales seems to be HSB and Pride as regulars with something else from the Fullers/Hophead range as guest.

Quinno _ left this review about The Cedars Inn
Beautifully appointed Fullers two-roomer in a lovely building. The cedars dominate the garden at the front and side of the pub. The left room is traditional old-fashioned style restaurant/lounge. The public bar to the right hosts pool and darts, though has a twee slant with crazy carpet, floral curtains and drapes. Mute TV football showing an aged international game. Three on from the Fullers stable; Pride, HSB (very good nick) and Seafarers. Whilst it wasn’t exactly mind-blowing it was certainly a solid performer and if you’re doing the steam railway, this is worth the sub 15 minute walk.
