This was a large roadside pub at the junction of St Albans Road and Longspring. It had a long single bar, possibly one of the longest in the area. I think it was sometime in the 1980's that it closed and was turned into a McDonalds restaurant, which it still is. They have kept the exterior of the building much the same.
