As is often the case, the pub I was expecting least of in Sandridge delivered the most. It is an old weatherboard pub next to the village church. You enter through a porch into the old bar area, with a second slightly more modern room to the rear.
There were just a couple of other young blokes present when we arrived, but an elderly couple did arrive before we left. Otherwise, we spent our time chatting to the friendly, young barmaid.
Cask ales were all national mainstream ones - Young's Ordinary, Fuller's London Pride, Greene King Abbot & Timothy Taylor Landlord. Sandridge is not the village to come to for the adventurous drinker. But we quite liked the friendly nature of this pub.

Nice low-ceilinged country pub in a pleasant setting beside the church. Small front bar that I suspect is used mainly by drinkers with the rest of the pub geared up for food. Called in on a weekday lunchtime and it seemed very popular with locals dining and there was a good buzz about the place. There is a small hard-standing patio area outside with views of the church. Four hand pumps, Pride, Deuchars, Landlord and Tribute on my Sept 09 visit at £3.10 a pint.
