Large, aged (Elizabethan) black and white timber beamed building. The rambling interior has little in the way of historic interest although it's relatively well done. Don't be put off by the coffee bar as you enter, the pub and dining is further on. Some country stylings for décor; curtains, decorative plates etc. GBG listed with three cask at the bar all from Ledbury Brewery. After waiting an age whilst the barman was engaged in horticultural duties with a cocktail order, I went for a Ledbury Dark and got a decent one for my troubles (NBSS 3). Company consisted mainly of gentlefolk codgers, squawking children and middle class Chloes bemoaning their recent holidays. Worth a nose. Note, it’s card only payment. 6.5

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Feathers Hotel
Historic coaching inn with a distinctive 'black and white' half-timbered façade. Still operating as a hotel, bar and restaurant, and although the main ground-floor areas have been thoroughly modernised, the place retains some character (especially upstairs if you happen to be staying). The front room is now a coffee shop for the well-heeled of Ledbury, with the compact bar area behind this, a much larger restaurant beyond and plenty of outdoor seating at the back. With two pairs of handpumps, I was happy to find the local Ledbury Bitter (£3.90) available in addition to Doom Bar.

Called in this timber framed coaching inn yesterday and found a friendly bar serving 3 real ales. Fullers London Pride, Ledbury Bitter and Swan Gold. We hose the Swan Gold which was fine. There is a function room which used to be a theatre, and a formal restaurant as well as a bistro style one. Also has a large walled garden and patio.

Real Ale Ray left this review about Feathers Hotel
A nice surprise this one, very efficient service, a choice of four hand pulled ales, plus the majority were from local breweries. The entrance and bar area was traditional and very well preserved. We sat in the foyer, which consisted of dark timber panelling and an oak floor. Various brass pots were suspended from the ceiling beams and the seating was eclectic. My pint of Mayfield's Priory Pale Ale, from Leominster, was excellent, and price was reasonable.
