At last this pub is now open.
Large bar area with a variety of seating. Ales on offer were Thwaites Bitter, Otter Amber, Ruby Mild and a seasonal Reinbeer. Food available as well as keg beer. I understand hotel rooms are available and a very pleasant first floor function room. A lively Christmas Party crowd were present on my visit.Well worth a look.

Rumour has it two gentlemen have acquired this pub . All I can say is watch this space.

This should be a premier pub in Bromyard but it has fallen on hard times. Since the closure of the Queens Head all the lower orders have returned.If you are visiting the town I would recomend you visit any other pub in town. Despite its quaint appearance its not worth the risk.

10/10/09 Addition
When driving past yesterday evening I see the front door shut and once again a removal van at the rear being loaded withsomeones worldly goods. I also noticed the sign has changed from Scottish & Newcastle Lease for sale to Freehold for sale. Will keep you posted.

It has been closed since my last report. However the building is not boarded ,up is kept in good order
which is good as it is situated in a historic part of Bromyard.
