Having been closed since last August and subject to redevelopment into seven homes, on saturday 21/10 15 the pub has been gutted by fire in a suspected arson attack.

This Pub is fantastic, what a complete turn around from Poets Corner. Long gone has the Hungary Horse image, rough crowd has gone, and building has been totally refurbished.
Monteagale Arms has a Large Car Park, Restaurant, Real Ales, Quiet Area, Non-Smoking Area, Leather Sofas, Pool Table, Dart Board, Patio Area, Toilets, Out Door Seating, Children’s Play Area, Bar Snacks, Disabled Access, Disabled Toilets, Large Menu, Live Bands, Fruit Machines, Cigar & Cigarette for Sale, and Debit/Credit Cards are Accepted with Cash Back.
New Management, New Image, New Styling, New Forward Thinking, New Layout, and Morden, Fresh and Tidy.
