A large Beefeater, formerly a Morlands house. The interior is fairly large and nondescript, needs some updating. The best seats are those out in the front garden. Three pumps, with two Greene King beers - Abbot and OSH – the latter of which drank well enough. Friendly barman, though I suspect we got lucky being served by him. Ate here and it was what you’d expect from the chain. Accommodation available, from the attached Premier Inn. Overall, does what it says on the tin.
