A roadside GK pub as described by Quinno, below. It has a reasonable car park and garden area, while inside is largely open plan while demarcated by the furniture to make it feel a bit more comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, happy to serve us even though last orders had been called (albeit somewhat early). Ales on were their ‘own’ \black Dog Bitter, GK IPA and Two Swords, all in decent condition. Also available were Neck Oil, Stowford Press Cider, Fosters and Madri. It lacked character a bit, but it was a useful stop for a quick pint.

Fairly decent Greene King outlet, modernised but with a bit of quasi-rustic character. L-shaped interior with a fairly homely feel -pub carpet, red wine and magnolia shades. A nice garden area is off left. Three ales on; GK IPA, a GK cricket badged beer and Robinson Dizzy Blonde (decent), though the very high prices put me off - just under 4 quid for a half and a small glass of lemonade bubbles for Desmond. Ultimately, so-so. 5.5
