E TA left this review about The Chapel Arms

Originally The Anglesea Arms, this basic Victorian corner boozer has limited opening hours which extend on match days, which are also the only days it sells Doombar. No real ale is available on non-match days. There are 2 bars, a large saloon and a smaller public bar with a pool table. The saloon has a woodburner, TV screen showing football and a laminate floor, plus a cabinet with a collection of sport trophies. Four bottled beers and a range of keg – Guinness, San Miguel, Carling, Stowford Press and Fosters – are available. The landlord was friendly enough, but it was a bit dead when we were there. It’s the nearest pub to the football stadium, and there is a definite football vibe to the place, but otherwise it doesn’t have a lot going for it.
