A fairly modern, popular local on the egde of a new estate. It has a large car park and a rather scruffy garden, the latter having a basic smoking shelter and various piles of soggy fag ends as decor. Inside there is a cosy carpeted L-shaped bar with an open fire at one end, exposed brickwork and a TV screen at the apex. There is a separate dining room. Food is standard pub grub at a reasonable price, though their beer isn’t cheap. Ales on were Otter Amber and Bitter plus Pride and Doombar, none of them in brilliant condition. It’s pleasant enough inside, but it’s let down by its beer quality.
