A Fullers village pub, presumably inherited from Gales when the Brewery shafted them. As Michael says below, there is a small tight car park but little else by way of outside areas. The public bar was busy, full of friendly locals enjoying a few noisy beers, while the quieter, more comfortable saloon had only 2 people in before we entered. The staff were helpful, making us feel very welcome. Food was basic, home cooked, unpretentious and reasonably priced; Sunday lunches are particularly good value. Ales on were Fullers ESB and Pride, plus Faux-HSB. Also available were Asahi, Fosters, Stowford Press and Guinness. There was also a small coffee machine behind the bar. I could quite get to like this pub if I lived here.

A typical village pub, given location it is mainly locals, but friendly enough
Fuller's only from what I saw, thus limited beer choice.
2 distinct bars "Public" & Saloon"
Serves food, but never tried it
Small car park, but plenty of on street parking around
If passing worth looking in
All in all, if the rating system was 5 stars it would be 3, but as we only have 4 I give it 2 stars, but only because of limited beer choice
Why named Miners Arms when mining is not in area? see Wikepedia under Funtley
