The Station is a Craft Union pub with a pool table in the front left corner that is separated from two dartboards in the left rear corner by high booths. Opposite these booths is a stage which looks like it becomes a dance floor at the weekend. In front of the stage in the front right corner is a small lounge area and the L-shaped serving counter is found in the right rear corner. Televisions are located throughout for the showing of all things sport, muted Sky Sports cricket being the choice while some background music played during a recent quiet Thursday afternoon visit. Standard and premium keg were both available alongside Greene King IPA from one of the two hand pumps. A high street boozer that I’ll walk past next time.
