Open again following a major refurb. There is now a substantial extension at the back, which houses thje main bar and is accessed through the car park. The main building is now a restaurant.

The Windmill Inn is a smallish unpretentious corner pub not far from Luton Parkway train station.
It was taken over by a Thai couple several years ago, who turned it into a pub cum Thai restaurant.
But despite the oriental decorative touches and an all Thai staff (Thai barmaids in traditional dress who greet you with a plate of prawn crackers when you place a food order) it still has a traditional cosy pub feel.
Internally it is an L shaped pub with the bar to the front with the area and seating around the bar having the traditional pub feel, and then the longer section to the left being set out as a restaurant section for people dining.
Fairly standard drinks offering with the usual chrome lager taps and Keg taps, which include Boddingtons and Flowers on the bitter front. But fortunately there are two hand pumps which usually dispense Fullers London Pride and Deuchars IPA and are have been well kept in my experience, as they were again on Friday evening, when I had the opportunity to pop in due to the trains to Parkway being all delayed, with the IPA in particular being a very good pint. I’ve never had the opportunity to eat here, but plenty of people do and the restaurant section was quite busy when I entered, and the menus available from the bar show a varied range of Thai food with mains in the £5 to £7 region.
