Large three roomed pub in the centre of Royton. There's a small lounge to the right as you enter and a much bigger lounge straight ahead. To the right of the larger lounge is a tap room. It's a very smart pub with lots of comfortable seating in both lounges along with some high tables and stools. The main lounge walls are covered in plates, flowers, mirrors etc. It's looks a bit old fashioned, but it's very pleasant and airy. There's only 1 handpump on the bar serving Lees Bitter which was a well kept pint. A mixed clientele, leaning towards the smarter end of the market with several large groups sat down, probably from the local offices as this was about 8 on a Friday evening. It's a nice pub that I will have no hesitation in visiting again. It could do with another handpump for the Lees seasonal beers though.
