Sizeable village pub with outdoor seating at the front. On the bar were four handpumps but the only ale was Greene King IPA, with the other three offering ciders from Lilley's. The IPA was OK but nothing special and served slightly on the cold side. With no reason to tarry I moved on...

A Chef & Brewer restaurant / pub in this drive-through village set back from the road and decorated in the usual C&B white and grey. The bar counter faces on entry and serves a largish bar area in front and to the left and right. The room then snakes towards the back right and behind which is a dining-only area (tables had wine glasses on them). The bar area has a lowish, rendered ceiling, exposed beams and a mixture of tiles and boarded floor. A good turnout of early evening drinkers on my visit, and although I stuck to a soft drink, the options of GK IPA, Abbot Ale and Sharp's Doom Bar meant I wasn't missing out.
